The 2BE water ring vacuum pump is divided into 2BEA and 2BEC types, covering the entire range of suction capacity from 210m 3/h to 37000m 3/h and suction pressure from 16000pa to 3300pa. Working principle of 2BE water ring vacuum pump


The water ring vacuum pump belongs to the positive displacement pump, which uses changes in volume size to achieve the purpose of suction and exhaust.


As shown in Figure 1, the impeller is eccentrically installed in the pump body with an eccentricity of e. When the impeller rotates (before starting the pump, a small amount of water should be injected into the pump), the water is subjected to centrifugal force and forms a rotating water ring on the pump body wall. The upper inner surface of the water ring is tangent to the hub and rotates in the direction of the arrow. During the first half of the rotation, the inner surface of the water ring gradually separates from the hub, forming a space between the impeller blades and gradually expanding. In this way, air is sucked in at the suction port. During the second half of the rotation, the inner surface of the water ring gradually approaches the hub, and the space volume between the blades decreases. The space volume between the blades changes once, and the water between each blade is like a piston. Repeating once, the pump continuously draws in gas.
